Lightwater Valley’s previous social media strategy was unfocused and ineffectual. The theme park wasn’t marketing to the right audiences, nor were they using the right strategy for organic and paid advertising. Their average reach was around 500 people before our social media team took over.
Our full-service team collaborated together, developing a custom strategy for Lightwater Valley that included search engine optimisation, Google Ads and social media management.
Our team worked closely with Lightwater Valley for around three years revamping their social media strategy and building traffic to their existing website. One of the biggest things that Lightwater Valley felt we helped them with was joining the dots; they could see stars in the skies but they couldn't see a constellation until we came into the picture.
After taking over Lightwater's Facebook page, we focused on increasing the number of fans and improving engagement, as well as utilising organic and paid advertising to target relevant keywords. Our strategy helped them grow the Facebook page from around 100,000 likes up to 130,000 fans by the time we handed it back.
We ran Google Ads and social media campaigns, increasing Lightwater Valley's rankings on Google, which had a massive impact on website traffic.
