THE ROLE
As a Paid Ads Specialist, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing effective strategies across Google, Bing, and Meta.
You’ll work closely with our wider marketing team, oversee junior team members, and build strong relationships with clients, helping them maximise ROI through data-led decisions, clear reporting, and innovative paid ad solutions.
This is an on-site role based in our Middlesbrough office, where collaboration and communication are key. We do offer flexible working hours and a fixed work-from-home day to support work-life balance.
EXPECTATIONS:
Minimum 3 years agency experience
Be accountable for the performance of the department
Excellent communication skills
Be able to demonstrate value
Good working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and other paid search tools.Â
Experience in reporting back to clients, making recommendations for improvements and providing rationale behind those recommendations
Willingness to learn about other areas in the marketing mix and how digital fits together
Understanding of best practices for International paid strategies and implementation
Ability to use popular CMS platforms such as WordPress, Aero, Magento and Shopify
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Audit Paid Ad Accounts (Google, Bing, Meta)
Work collaboratively alongside the wider marketing team
Liaise with clients and developers to ensure recommendations are implemented successfully
Building and maintaining client relationships
Creating and executing paid strategies to help our clients improve their online presenceÂ
Detailed keyword research
Review account performance across key metrics and other key indicators
Maintain detailed monthly reporting documents to monitor and communicate Paid Ads performance
Be able to create Paid Ad proposals for potential clients
Identify gaps and opportunities in paid search strategies
Be confident with setting up feeds & implementing tracking codes
Overseeing juniors, with things such as workload, processes, etc
Reporting key data/department overview to the Marketing Manager
Always demonstrating behaviours that reflect our core values and reinforcing these within the team
Handling escalations/retentionsÂ
Seeking training gaps & providing the training needed.
