Celebrating Success at the NFAN Awards with Bocketts Farm Park

Awards evenings are a chance to step back and recognise the work that often happens behind the scenes, week after week, season after season.

At this year’s National Farm Attraction Network (NFAN) Awards, it was brilliant to see our client Bocketts Farm Park recognised across multiple categories.

On the night, the team took home Large Farm Park of the Year, the Sustainability Award, and Best Retail, alongside a Shining Star award for one of their Farmers. They were also Highly Commended for Best Digital Presence.

What makes that so impressive is the consistency it takes to deliver at that level.

Running a farm attraction means balancing a lot at once. Visitor experience, safety, seasonality, staffing, retail, food, events, and everything that comes with welcoming thousands of families through the gates. To be recognised across such varied categories shows the strength of the whole operation, not just one part of it.

Being Highly Commended for Best Digital Presence was particularly rewarding to see. Digital is often only noticed when it is not working. When it does its job properly, it supports the wider experience without getting in the way. It helps people find the right information quickly, understand what to expect, feel confident booking, and arrive with fewer questions and more excitement.

That is what strong digital should do.

Not only look good, but remove friction and build trust. Recognition like this is a reminder that digital does not sit separately from the rest of the business. It supports the visitor journey long before someone arrives on site, and it continues after, through reviews, returning visitors, and word of mouth. The evening also marked an important moment for the wider NFAN community, with the new NFAN website now live following our recent rebuild. The focus has been on usability, making it easier for members to find what they need, and we’ll be sharing what’s changed shortly.

If you are exploring a new website or improving an existing one, you can take a look at our portfolio to see examples of recent work, or visit our development page to find out how we can help.

Congratulations to the whole Bocketts Farm Park team, and to all the winners and finalists recognised on the night.
