Rebuilt an app from the ground up

Your Voucher Book is a mobile app used to manage and redeem vouchers across a wide range of offers and experiences. It’s a core product for users, something they rely on regularly, so performance and reliability aren’t optional.

Challenge

The existing app had reached its limit.

It was built using React Native and relied heavily on third-party components. Over time, this created increasing problems with stability, maintenance, and compatibility.

The platform was:

• Difficult to update

• Fragile under change

• At risk of failing future app store requirements

• Not structured for adding new features

At the same time, everything users relied on needed to stay intact.

This wasn’t a redesign. It was a rebuild, without breaking what already worked.

Solution

We rebuilt the app from the ground up using modern, first-party technologies.

The new platform uses Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS, and Laravel for the backend, creating a more stable and maintainable foundation. We retained full feature parity, ensuring users experienced no disruption during the transition.

Behind the scenes, we introduced a cleaner architecture, making the system easier to update, scale, and support long-term.

We also added better diagnostics, including crash reporting, logging, and user tracking, giving full visibility into how the app performs in real-world use.

Result

The app is now faster, more stable, and significantly easier to maintain.

It no longer relies on outdated third-party components, reducing risk and improving long-term reliability.

The platform is now ready for ongoing Apple and Google updates, removing a major point of failure.

Most importantly, it’s no longer something the team has to work around. It’s something they can build on, with confidence.
