Platinum On The Ball is a physiotherapy business that wanted to extend its services beyond traditional in-person sessions. With strong expertise in exercise programmes and physical recovery, they needed a digital platform that could help users access structured support wherever they were.

The goal was to turn hands-on physiotherapy knowledge into a mobile-first product that people could use repeatedly, not just during appointments. It needed to be simple, accessible and built around real-life use, whether someone was at home, in the gym or on the move.

Challenge

The business was limited by physical delivery. Their expertise was valuable, but it could only reach people who could attend sessions or access support directly. They needed a way to make structured physiotherapy programmes available through an app, without losing the clarity and guidance users would expect from in-person support.

The platform also needed to support different types of users. Some needed free access to try the content, while others would upgrade for the full experience. That meant building a system that could handle free and paid content, offline access, secure user accounts, progress tracking and future growth without making the app feel complicated.

Solution

We designed and developed a cross-platform mobile app published through both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The platform includes a structured content library, with exercises organised by categories, tags and classes, making it easy for users to find the right programme and return to it when needed.

Offline access was built into the experience, allowing users to download and store video content locally for use in real-world environments. We also added search, favourites, user activity tracking, progress tracking, secure authentication and subscription handling, creating a platform that supports both free users and paid premium content.

Result

Platinum On The Ball now has a scalable mobile platform delivering over 100 structured video resources through one consistent experience. The latest version has reached 99% user adoption, showing that users are moving with the platform and continuing to engage with the app.

Around 15% of users convert from free to paid, creating a commercial model that supports growth while keeping the app accessible. Most importantly, the business is no longer limited by location. Users can now access Platinum On The Ball worldwide, giving the business a digital product that people can return to again and again.
